Terms of service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you (the business purchasing the service, "you") and Progressive Consultants LLC, doing business as Quietdesk ("Quietdesk," "we," "us"). By purchasing or using Quietdesk, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service. Quietdesk provides an AI-assisted customer support service for online stores. It reads support messages, looks up order and shipping information from systems you connect, drafts or sends replies according to your policies, and routes tickets to your team when needed. Features vary by plan as described on our website.
2. Business use. Quietdesk is intended for business customers. You confirm that you are authorized to act for the business that purchases the service and to grant us access to its store and support systems.
3. Access you provide. You grant us permission to access your store data and support inbox to the extent needed to provide the service. You are responsible for keeping your own accounts secure and for promptly revoking access if you no longer want us to have it.
4. Your responsibilities.
• Provide accurate policies, product information, and setup details, and tell us promptly when they change.
• Review drafts while your service is in draft mode, and tell us about replies you would change.
• Handle tickets handed off to your team, including all refunds, credits, and exceptions.
• Give your customers any notices required by law about how their support messages are processed.
5. AI limitations. Quietdesk uses artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes. We design the service to answer only from your policies and connected data and to hand off uncertain or sensitive tickets, but we do not guarantee that every reply will be accurate or complete, or that any specific share of tickets will be resolved automatically. You remain responsible for your customer relationships and for decisions made in your business.
6. Plans, limits, and fees. Each plan includes a monthly ticket allowance. If you consistently exceed it, we will contact you about changing plans. Fees, billing, and cancellation are governed by our Subscription & Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use. You may not use Quietdesk to send spam, mislead customers, violate anyone's rights, or break any law. We may suspend the service if we reasonably believe it is being misused.
8. Confidentiality and data. We treat your business information and your customers' data as confidential and use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Ownership. You keep all rights to your store data, content, and customer information. We keep all rights to the Quietdesk service, including our instructions, workflows, and software.
10. Disclaimer. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination. You may cancel at any time as described in our Subscription & Cancellation Policy. We may end or suspend the service for nonpayment or for a material breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
13. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify active customers by email at least 30 days in advance.
14. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Progressive Consultants LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
